AW12 Mulberry Campaign

One of my favourite parts of the designer brands new season collections, is seeing the glossy campaign shots for the first time as these usually sum up the whole collection in 5-6 beautiful images and also give an incite as to what to expect from the up coming season.

As you may have seen earlier in the year - i wrote a post about the amazing Mulberry AW12 show, Mulberry have just posted the campaign shots for this amazing collection and i thought i would share them with you. The main influence of this collection was Maurice Sendak's book "Where the wild things are" and as you will see below this influence has lent itself well to creating some quite imaginative and different promotional images.
I wait with great anticipation to see what Mulberry come up with for SS13!

Buy NOW, Wear FOREVER

I recently purchased this skirt from New Look after falling in love with the beautiful print and cut. This is the kind of piece all women should have in their wardrobe, a piece that can be dressed down for work or dressed up for a night out.
Here are 3 ways i plan to style this skirt - including some aspirational pieces like the fabulous Lulu Guinness Lip clutch.

Check out my Polvore page for information on all the pieces included: http://theglitterfashionista.polyvore.com

ELLE of a Disappointment

I love ELLE magazine, this along with Vogue are my monthly bibles of fashion. Every month i wait anxiously, anticipating what new exciting articles and images will be featured and how these will influence my style. I also love the freebies that ELLE regularly has, from cosmetics and gift cards to shopper bags (my husband likes the Reiss bag that came free a few years ago - so much so he uses it everyday as a lunch bag!!) but i have to say this month i am utterly disappointed, not by the free item itself but the sizing! This months' gift is a Reiss vest top in three colours/designs but as with many magazine freebies the garment is 1 size fits all!!! A statement that really isn't the case.
